Is multi-accounting allowed?
A pretty common strategy for Rollerbeetle Racers to get alot of top 100 times, is to multi acount race.
I was just wondering is this was legal? The main setup is usually something like this: Because you can't /resign out anymore, ppl simply "switch" to the second acount, using gwx2 or whatever, and start playing on that one. That way, they can pretty much do the first 40 seconds of the lapse (which determines wether or not you'll get top 100 time), without having to wait out the rest of the lap. Is this against the EULA or not? Otherwise I'm charing up GWx2 ^^ |

Maybe, playing on multiple accounts at the same time is not against the eula.
Playing them for this reason might be against the eula, something along the lines of spoiling the game for other people. |

quitting in the middle of the race is match manipulation and should be bannable, lulz.
I can think of no reason why this would breach the EULA, or how they could even enforce it if it did. |

Multi Accounting is fine, it's allowed. What it is abused for in terms of rollerbeetle racing, is NOT ok. Anet will find out that you are multi accounting a rollerbeetle race by your IP address and deliver a swift ban to both accounts if they find you are manipulating a match.

IMO it's like anything else when asking about the rules: If you *have* to ask, you probably already know the answer, but are hoping someone is gonna tell you it's ok.. It's not worth the risk.

Just because YOU haven't gotten caught yet, doesn't mean they don't scan for that sort of thing. Last edited by Bob Slydell; Feb 15, 2010 at 04:32 AM // 04:32.. |

scan? anet? How can you even be putting your hopes up high for a minipet, for the top 100 RBR scorers, when that ladder is 100% bots and syncers? Does any of them receive no minipet? Does any of them get banned eventually? Thought so |

You're not likely to get caught apparently, but you'll be (justifiably) permanently banned if you are.
